Fire crews from Douglas have dealt with several flooding incidents over the past 24 hours.
The heavy rainfall on Friday caused problems for several properties.
The first major incident for Douglas crews was at the Spring Valley Industrial Estate when a commercial property was reported to be flooding.
Between Friday afternoon and early this morning (Saturday), they were called to a further four incidents of domestic flooding.
The most serious was just after 1.30am on Queen's Promenade as cars and garages were under threat from a large amount of water.
Officers worked for two hours to stem the flow and pump out the area affected and they say damage was kept to a minimum.
Crews from Laxey dealt with a similar incident at Shore Road where water was coming into a basement.
