George leading through Peel.

The first competitor through Peel in the Manx Telecom Parish Walk was Michael George

His time was five hours, 17 minutes, 25 seconds.

In second place through Peel was Richard Gerrard and just a second behind was Richard Spenceley.

Conditions around the course have deteriorated with some heavy rain.

The 85-mile challenge started at 8am this morning.
