No rush for new minister appointment

The Chief Minister says there have been no in-depth discussions about appointing a new Education Minister.

Health Minister David Anderson, a former Education Minister, has taken on the role on an interim basis following the sacking of Peter Karran on Wednesday.

Mr Karran was dismissed for opposing government plans over the film industry – a breach of ministerial guidelines.
