Chief Minister leads BIC delegation

Representatives from the Manx government, led by Chief Minister Allan Bell, have travelled to Scotland this afternoon for a British-Irish Council summit.

The Scottish Government is hosting the event, which involves leaders and ministers from the UK, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey, as well as the Isle of Man.

It’s the third time the summit has been held in Scotland.

Issues up for discussion will include youth employment and marine energy technologies.
