Higher education conference shows pupils the next step

This year's Isle of Man Higher Education Conference is underway.

The two-day event at Ballakermeen High School showcases the opportunities there are for students coming to the end of their school careers to continue in education.

More than 70 organisations will be represented at the event.

Head of sixth form at Ballakermeen Ian Kay says it gives many students a unique opportunity to find out what's available without having to leave the Island:
