Scope of Government up for debate

by isleofman.com 20th June 2012

The scope of government report will be discussed in Tynwald today.

Chief Minister Allan Bell will move that the court notes that the Council of Ministers has received and is considering the two reports - "A Review of the Scope of Government" and "The Government's Rebalancing Strategy" - and that views on them from Tynwald Members and the public are welcome.

Mr Bell says the Council of Ministers is making no recommendations at this stage.

The court decided to postpone the debate to today after spending over five hours debating the motion to invest in Pinewood studios yesterday.
