Leading qualifier Paul Lowey begins his matchplay challenge at the Grant Thornton Isle of Man Golf Championships with a tie against multiple former Champion Gary Wilson.
Second in Sunday's qualifying at Rowany was home star Tom Gandy who goes out in the last match this evening against Jonathan Corke who won the title the last time the event was held in Port Erin in 2008.
