TT visitor inquest to open

An inquest will open this afternoon (Tuesday) into the death of a TT fan from York.

Forty-nine year-old Amanda Heather McNichol was killed in an incident involving four bikes on the Mountain Road near the 32nd milestone.

She was a pillion passenger when the accident happened in practice week.

Coroner of inquests, John Needham, will open and adjourn the hearing at Douglas courthouse at two o’clock.
