by isleofman.com 18th June 2012

Two lucky Manx2.com passengers won a day and night to remember last weekend in Blackpool watching pop legend Elton John perform, courtesy of Manx2.com and Visit Blackpool.

The competition was open to people booking return flights from Isle of Man to Blackpool before 14 June.

The lucky winner, Kerry Jones and her partner, were met at The Sands Venue on Saturday and then enjoyed a champagne and canapés reception while taking in sea views of Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. A visit to some of Blackpool’s top attractions followed including Madame Tussauds, The Blackpool Tower Dungeon, The Blackpool Tower Eye and 4D Experience.  Then a three course meal with wine at the Sand Venue entertainment by the famous “Rat Pack” singer Buddy Greco, before being whisked off to see Elton John perform at the Tower Festival Headland in reserved top price seats!

Chairman of Manx2.com Noel Hayes:  “Congratulations to our two lucky winners. It was a fantastic day and superb concert.”

“Single fares start from £19.95 which includes taxes and charges and are subject to availability and the Elton John concert is just one of a huge variety of entertainment always on offer in Blackpool”.
