A major road project lasting nine weeks starts on a busy stretch of road in Douglas on Sunday.
Cones will be out on a stretch of New Castletown Road between Quarterbridge and Saddle Road, for an overhaul of the road surface, drains and pavements.
A new, controlled pedestrian crossing will also be created.
During the work, a one-way system SOUTH will be in force, allowing drivers travelling out of Douglas only, to pass through the work area.
Traffic heading into Douglas should skirt the road works using either Cooil Road and Vicarage Road, or Kewaigue and the South Quay.
