MotoGP unlikely for Cal

Ramsey resident Cal Crutchlow has missed qualifying for Sunday's British MotoGP.

The Yamaha rider was taken to hospital with an ankle injury after crashing heavily during final practice at Silverstone.

He'll have a medical this morning, and if passed fit to ride can start the race, albeit from the back of the grid

Spain's Alvaro Bautista qualified fasted to achieve his first career pole position.

He will share the front row with Yamaha's Ben Spies in second and world champion Casey Stoner lining up third on the grid.
