Continent 8 Technologies Makes it a Hat Trick of Awards

by isleofman.com 15th June 2012

Continent 8 Technologies won Data Centre of the Year, for the third year in a row, at this year’s eGaming Review B2B Awards at London’s Wembley Stadium on Thursday 10th May 2012.

The EGR B2B Awards reward and celebrate the very best service providers and B2B operators in the eGaming industry, recognizing achievements across all the major eGaming disciplines including betting and gaming software, networks, mobile, payments, recruitment, IT and infrastructure.

Winning the award reflects Continent 8’s continued commitment in the last 12 months through products and services tailored specifically for the eGaming sector. A new Data Centre in Gibraltar as well as an increased Global Private Network are the flagship developments which will be added to in the coming months with new data centres in Ireland, Alderney and North America. This investment is in addition to the continued commercial success despite the highly competitive 12 months trading.

Continent 8, dedicated to supporting the global eGaming industry for over ten years now, operates in three continents, with seven strategically located data centres linked by a private global network. Continent 8 is considered by their extensive customer base to be synonymous with reliability and innovation, supporting them through a multi-jurisdictional model of co-location and managed services.

Peter Williams, Director of Global Sales, who collected the award along with Nick Nally, Chief Development Officer, said, “Continent 8 are honoured to be recognised in this category. Our continued success is underpinned by a dedication to customer service, and we will continue to build on our global footprints, network, services and people to support our expanding customer base. Gibraltar has been a great success to date and one that has opened up so many opportunities for Continent 8.  This will not be the last investment Continent intends to make this year. We have immediate plans to add another two locations this year alone and will continue expand through forward planning in close co-operation with partners and customer alike.”
