Junior Gateway Games

Manx Sport and Recreation in conjunction with the Manx Gateway Club, is hosting this year’s Junior Gateway Games on Sunday 15th July.
 
The Junior Gateway Games will be taking place at the National Sports Centre and is open to all children in reception – year 11 with learning, sensory and/ or physical disabilities. 
 
The Gateway Games will take place from 12:00pm – 4:30pm and will be split into two separate events. The first event will be the ‘Multi Sport Event’ which is taking place from 12:00-2:00pm at the National Sport Centre, Main Sports Hall. Children will be able to take part in a variety of sports such as: football, tri-golf, athletics and cricket! These sports will be facilitated by qualified coaches who are on hand to help individuals with style and technique.


The second part of the day will take place from 3:30-4:30pm, and will take place in the NSC swimming pool. Children can take part in a variety of swimming races and activities.


This fantastic event is FREE of charge and is a great opportunity for children to take part in a variety of sports.  All participants will be presented with medals and certificates to celebrate their achievements.
