Queenie of the south

by isleofman.com 14th June 2012

The TT may be over but there's a rather different festival gearing up in the south of the Island.

The Queenie festival is now in its fourth year and celebrates the sea and everything in it or on it.

Festivities kick off on Friday 29th June around Port St Mary's harbour and quay and run through the weekend to Sunday 1st July.

Organiser Tim Croft says it's a fun way to celebrate the sea's riches and get across the message of sustainability
