Whithorn backs scrapping Solway Harvester

A Scottish vicar says disposing of the Solway Harvester is OK with its crew's home town of Whithorn.

Reverend Alex Currie has been a part of the community since the seven men aboard lost their lives in the tragedy.

The scallop dredger sank off the Island's coast 12 years ago, and this week Infrastructure minister David Cretney said the vessel will be broken up in Ramsey soon.

Reverend Currie says his community is happy with the decision:
