Planning changes 'make system fairer'

Proposed changes to the planning process are about trying to be fair to everyone.

That's according to the political member with responsibility for planning, Middle MHK Howard Quayle.

Fees for applications are set to for an above inflation rise, subject to Tynwald approval.

Mr Quayle says one change, the permitted development order, will make a big difference to the public when it comes to making applications, though:
