Minibus donation a Phab treat!

Disabled youngsters in the Isle of Man have been given an easier ride after a generous local donation.

Businessman Steve George from Port Erin has bought a minibus for the Phab club, to transport youngsters from the south to weekly sessions at Cronk y Berry school in Douglas.

Mr George offered the gift after hearing how volunteers from Rushen Round Table, which has been associated with the club for 26 years, have been making the journey in borrowed vehicles.

Phab stands for Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied and is an organisation run by the Department of Education and Children's Youth Service.

The minibus was presented last night (Tuesday) and Phab worker Sarah Strickett says it will make a huge difference:
