More delays for Heysham crossings

by isleofman.com 12th June 2012

There are further delays for passengers using the Island's ferry service to Heysham today.

The Ben-my-Chree didn't leave the Lancashire port until after 6.30am, four hours later than it usually does, then took over five hours to get to Douglas.

The Steam Packet says routine tests this morning showed problems with her starboard pitch controls before she set sail.

The company's website currently says a further update will be issued around 4pm.
