Fingers crossed for TT (but a further delay!)

by isleofman.com 9th June 2012

After frustration Friday, could we have super Saturday!

With the weather gods ensuring there’d be no racing yesterday, the full programme moves to today.

The original schedule has been delayed three times. That’s an 3.30pm start for the BikerPetition lightweight and a 5.15pm start for the ‘Blue Riband’ event - the PokerStars Senior TT with the Monster Energy Parade Lap in between.

That features Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith.

Weather permitting, roads will close around the Mountain at 2pm and the rest of the course at 3pm.

So an exciting day’s racing in prospect.

It did rain heavily last night and overnight so the ground will need time to dry out and that early hill fog will need to lift but Met man Neil Young is hopeful.
