When you put your helmet on, make sure it has a brain in it!

That blunt warning from the Home Affairs Minister as frontline agencies in the Island try to ensure a well managed TT Festival.

It’s the busiest time of the year for the police, fire and rescue service and communications division with resources fully stretched.

Juan Watterson says that’s inevitable when there’s an influx of visitors and huge increase in traffic on the Island’s roads.
