Treasury Minister Eddie Teare is proposing a major change to the way the Island's film industry is structured.
CinemaNX is to close and the government will buy a 20% stake in UK-based Pinewood Shepperton Studios.
In recent times the film industry's been a bone of contention with some backbench MHKs, who will now be asked to back the proposal when it goes to Tynwald in a fortnight's time.
