Commissioner stands down after claimed conflict of interest

A Special Constable has stood down as a Commissioner after an anonymous complaint.

Aileen Fraser was elected in the parish of Andreas in late April, but a member of the public has claimed a 'conflict of interest'.

Miss Fraser sought advice from the commissioners and the Isle of Man constabulary before standing down.

She says it was a difficult choice but she wanted to remain a Special Constable:
