Manx Telecom phone winner meets Ramsey Rocket

by isleofman.com 4th June 2012

Tyco Suzuki rider Conor Cummins presented the first of 10 Sony Xperia S smartphones being given away during TT fortnight in a Manx Telecom competition. Sam Brightman from Surrey was the lucky winner and was presented with the fantastic prize by the Ramsey Rocket in the TT paddock. He is visiting the TT for the second time and is here with his father Paul and a few friends.

Sam had a chance to quiz Conor about his preparations for the TT and have a look at the Tyco Suzuki paddock area. The TT star - also known as the ‘Two Metre Man’ and ‘Conrod’ - signed autographs and had his photo taken with the prize winner. Conor, who is the fastest Manxman ever to lap the Mountain Course, has a personal sponsorship deal with Manx Telecom which has the fastest phones on the Island’s fastest network.

A Sony Xperia S handset is being given away every day during the TT from May 29 to June 7. The competition is open to Manx Telecom inbound roaming customers aged 18 or over (customers of UK and overseas networks - ie, Manx Telecom's roaming partners) and Manx Telecom mobile customers aged 18 or over resident in the Isle of Man. To automatically enter the competition you just need to make a call, use data or send a text message.  You may also enter for free by sending your name, address and contact number by post to: TT Sony Xperia S Competition, Manx Telecom Ltd, Isle of Man Business Park, Cooil Road, Braddan, IM99 1HX. The competition closes on June 7, 2012. For more details go to www.manxtelecom.com/ttcomp.
