Fatal road accident at Greeba - revised TT schedule released

Another motocyclist has died after a traffic accident this morning.

It happened around 9.30am at Greeba Bridge and involved one bike and two other vehicles.

Police say the rider of the bike died as a result of his injuries.

The incident has led to the delay of the second day of racing at TT 2012.

The Supersport Race 1 was due to have got underway at 10.45

The Mountain Course is now closed, and a revised schedule for the day has been produced.

It'll begin with a Subaru demonstration lap at 12.30pm, followed by the four-lap Supersport Race 1 at 1pm.

At 3.15pm there will be a sidecar practice session, another Subaru demonstration lap at 3.30pm then a TT Zero practice at 3.50pm.

The access roads will be open between 5pm and 6pm, then the four-lap Superstock race will get underway at 6.30pm.
