by isleofman.com 3rd June 2012

Peel lifeboat was called into action in the early hours of Saturday morning when a boat from Northern Ireland ran into trouble.

The 20 foot motor cruiser Woody Blue, headed for Peel, ran out of fuel six miles from port with two people aboard.

The lifeboat launched just before 1am, located the vessel in fine weather before towing it to safety.
