Island leaders look to work together

by isleofman.com 2nd June 2012

A meeting of senior government ministers from the Island and the Channel Islands has been hailed a great success.

Chief Minister Allan Bell met his Jersey and Guernsey counterparts during a two day visit.

He was joined on the trip by Treasury Minister Eddie Teare and chief secretary Will Greenhow.

Mr Bell says while the Island will always be in direct competition with Jersey and Guernsey, there's much to be gained by forging stronger links with our crown dependency counterparts.
