Oil spill cuts short TT practice

by isleofman.com 1st June 2012

The summery conditions returned to the Mountain Course for the final night of practice week.

But an oil spill at Barregarrow during the Supertwin / newcomers session meant the final session - for Superbike, Superstock and Supersport machines - was called off as riders were waiting to go out.

The sidecars were out first tonight, to road test a few last adjustments and bed-in tyres ahead of tomorrow afternoon's race.

But unfortunately that wasn't the case for those in the solos looking to take their big bikes for the same reasons, as Charlie Williams and Chris Kinley discussed on Manx Radio TT365: (play audio)

The six-lap Dainese Superbike race starts at 11am tomorrow, followed by the three-lap Sure Sidecar 1 race at 2pm.

You can hear full coverage of the racing, plus all the build-up, on manxradiott365.com and on Manx Radio's AM1368 frequency.
