Prospect Terrace in Douglas is open again after a fire at the Terrace Chippy closed the road off for a time earlier today (Fri)
It broke out around a quarter past eleven and three appliances and at least ten fire officers attended the scene.
Nearby businesses were evacuated . . but it's not thought that anyone was injured
It's believed the blaze was caused by a problem with an extractor fan.
