Prospect Terrace in Douglas is currently cordoned off as firemen deal with an incident at the Terrace Chippy.

A fire broke out around a quarter past eleven and three appliances and at least ten fire officers are at the scene.

Nearby businesses have been evacuated . . and currently it's not thought that anyone has been injured

It's believed the blaze has been caused by a problem with an extractor fan
