Hospice Isle of Man launches its new Lottery

by isleofman.com 1st June 2012

Local charity Hospice Isle of Man needs to raise £3.5 million a year. As a charity they are always looking for further ways of generating income so they are delighted to announce the launch of a new lottery.

Chief Executive for Hospice Margaret Simpson said: “We are really pleased to get this lottery off the ground and look forward to offering a different way for people to support our charity.” “This will be an exciting chance of winning a prize each month – as the old saying goes ‘if you’re not in, you can’t win!

The first draw will take place on Wednesday 20th June at noon. Players will  get the opportunity to enter the lottery and win up to £1,000 each month. Entry is just £5 per month and all profits will be re-invested back into the Hospice. Each month the draw will be held on the third Wednesday at Hospice. There will be three top prizes. There will not be any rollover so every month these prizes will be won. The prize pot will be dictated by the number of entries each month so the more people playing the bigger the prize – up to £1,000 each month!

Leaflets are available at any Hospice shops, Hospice or downloadable from the hospice website on www.hospice.org.im Full terms and conditions are also available to download from the website or available from the Hospice Lottery Office on 647435.  Hospice is a member of the Hospice Lotteries Association and it is committed to using lotteries to fundraise responsibly.
