by isleofman.com 30th May 2012

Nominations for the 2012 Isle of Man Tourism Awards have opened.

The awards invite visitors and customers to nominate a business, organisation or individual who's offered outstanding quality or service.

As part of the annual visitor survey carried out by the Department of Economic Development, the awards are designed to identify how the Isle of Man measures-up as a destination and track visitor satisfaction.

Survey forms have been widely distributed to attractions, hotels, railway stations and host of other locations around the Island and all those who complete the survey are entered into a free draw to win a luxury break in the Isle of Man.

The seven categories are best customer Service, best visitor accommodation, best eating out experience, best camp site and hotel, best attraction, best town or village and event of the year.

Nominations close on 30th September and the winners will be announced in November.
