Biker dies in accident on Mountain Road

Police have confirmed that a motorcyclist was killed in an accident on the Mountain Road this morning (Wed)

It happened just before 7am near to the 32nd Milestone and involved four bikes; a multi-coloured Honda, a red, white and blue Honda, a red Honda and a blue Yamaha.

All were traveling towards Douglas at the time of the incident.

The other riders involved in the accident sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The road has been closed whilst Police conduct enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to get in contact with the roads policing unit on 631 212. Officers say they would particularly like to speak to a group of bikers who were parked in the TT marshals car park near to the 32nd Milestone bends.

Three fans have now died in two days in separate accidents on the open road.
