by isleofman.com 29th May 2012

A man from the North East of England has been killed in an accident on the Ramsey coast road.

It happened at around 11.30am this morning at Bulgham.

The rider, who was travelling towards Ramsey, was on a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle, which collided with a red Citroen car being driven by a local couple towards Laxey.

The occupants of the car were uninjured.

The road was closed for around six hours while police conducted their enquiries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened, and in particular are appealing to the people in a white car heading north which stopped at the scene.
