An invitation's been issued by the Chief Minister to all supporters of the Isle of Man to join a new network of 'global friends'.

The initiative's open to residents, their family and friends living elsewhere, ex pats, or anyone who's become a fan of the Island through the TT or visits on holiday.

The aim is to promote the Island's positive story in business, culture and sport around the world.

Allan Bell says he hopes the Global Friends campaign will strengthen the existing network of enthusiasts already doing their bit to enhance the Island's reputation overseas.
