Wrong way driver hunted

by isleofman.com 29th May 2012

Police are hunting a driver who ignored the one-way system on the Mountain Road late last night (Monday).

The pick-up truck was spotted at around 11:05pm driving the wrong way along the road near Kate’s Cottage.

Officers say there were plenty of other motorists on the road and they’d like to contact a couple in a white Ford Fiesta who stopped to report the driver.

Police say the dangers of ignoring the one-way system are all too evident and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

If you have any information, you can contact police on 631212.
