An online payments processor based on the Island says it more than doubled its revenues over the last year.

The annual general meeting of Optimal Payments was held on the Island, when chairman Dale Johnson outlined his optimism about the company’s trading outlook.

In 2011, revenues for the firm – which is based in Finch Road in Douglas - jumped to $127.9 million, more than twice the figure for 2010.
