Heron and Brearley launches ‘1907’ ale for TT 2012 and pledges support for Joey Dunlop Foundation

Heron and Brearley is to launch its limited-edition Okells TT ale 1907 on Sunday May 27th and has pledged to donate 5p for every pint sold to the Joey Dunlop Foundation.

TT regulars The Purple Helmets will be on hand at the TT Grandstand on Sunday May 27th at 4pm to launch the beer as part of an evening dedicated to raising funds for the Joey Dunlop Foundation and celebrating the start of this year’s TT festival.

Heron and Brearley’s retail director Steven Taylor said: ‘Since its launch for the Centenary TT, 1907 has proved extremely popular. It always surprises me the number of messages that I receive from TT fans requesting its availability across the United Kingdom. It is for that reason that we have once again made 1907 available throughout our managed estate.

‘1907 is yet another demonstration of our commitment to bring consumers quality niche products - not only bespoke ales but also innovative food and entertainment offerings – across our managed estate and to raise funds for a deserving local cause, the Joey Dunlop Foundation.

‘We are pleased to be providing the products and services that form the backdrop to what is the finest festival of road racing in the world. Importantly we are totally focused on meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations and delivering an exceptional hospitality experience, not only throughout the TT festival but also year round, every year.’
