Cottage Cheese Rasin Toast

Ready in 10 minutes, makes 1 serving

 

1 slice whole wheat raisin bread
½ cup low-fat cottage cheese
1 chopped dry fig
1 tbsp slivered almonds
Dash cinnamon

1. Toast bread in a toaster.  Meanwhile, mix all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Spread mixture on raisin toast.  Serve.

 

Calories = 255


FIT TIP:  Eat carbs with protein...pack this snack to go!
FIT FACT:  Low-fat cottage cheese is a great source of protein.

Exercise can suppress your immune function temporarily, so eating right after gives it a boost.
