Island dentists to help in Uganda

by isleofman.com 24th May 2012

Isle of Man dentists are helping people who desperately need care in Uganda.

A team of three from Port Erin dental surgery is travelling to the African country in September in support of UK organisation Dentaid.

They're hoping to raise money and awareness with a charity concert at the Cherry Orchard tomorrow night (Friday).

Owner of Port Erin surgery Erik Ahlbom went on a charity trip to Uganda last year and says it's hard to grasp the scale of the problem:

The fundraising concert starts at 8pm tomorrow evening at the Cherry Orchard.
