Stephanie Moore, the wife of the World Cup winning England captain Bobby Moore, will head a trio of speakers at an event at the Palace Hotel in Douglas this evening (Thursday).
She’ll speak to Island health professionals through her work as founder of the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK.
She formed the body after the death of her husband to bowel cancer in 1993 at the age of 51.
Other guest speakers at the event, organised by the charity Bowel Cancer Isle of Man, will be Julia Kennedy, operations director at Europacolon and Simon Stock, consultant surgeon at Noble’s Hospital.
