East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell has defended her question in the House of Keys on the scope of government report.

Mrs Cannell asked the Chief Minister when the Council of Ministers will reach a determination on the Scope of Government review and when the report will be laid before Tynwald.

Mr Bell said he found it 'disappointing to say the least' Mrs Cannell had raised the issue as he had already made it clear at a recent briefing he would be bringing forward a motion to Tynwald in June.

That would allow for debate on parts one and two of the report.

However, Mrs Cannell says Mr Bell's answer wasn't totally clear and she wants to see more transparency in goverment.
