CoMin to decide on Kirk Michael development

The Council of Ministers will decide whether the latest plans for a housing development behind Kirk Michael Primary School can be progressed.

The issue was raised in the House of Keys today by Michael MHK Alf Cannan.

An application by Heritage Homes to build 100 houses on the site was turned down by an independent inspector.

An application for 95 houses has since been made.

Chief Minister Allan Bell told the Keys that has been referred to the Council of Ministers for determination:
