First heat for budding chefs

Budding chefs are being invited to get involved with the Island’s top food competitions.

The I Love Manx campaign is behind the Chef of the Year competition which sees professionals trying to outdo each other with Manx ingredients.

Entrants will have to cook a dish live at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show on Friday August, 10.

Finalists will then battle it out at the Isle of Man Food & Drink Festival on Saturday, September 22 in front of celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott.
