by isleofman.com 21st May 2012

Local charity Manx Cancer help has been given a Motorola Zoom Tablet to help families from the Isle of Man to keep in touch when loved ones are undergoing treatment in the UK.

Cable and Wireless, which owns the Sure Brand, has donated the tablet which will mean people can communicate via Skype video calling.

Ally Martin from Manx Cancer Help says they are very grateful for the gift and believes it will be of great benefit to local people.

Andy Bridson from Sure says it is a pleasure to be working with Manx Cancer Help - who he describes as a "fantastic charity".

In the five years that Cable and Wireless have been on the Island they have given ?500,000 pounds to charity and community projects.
