Emergency landing at Ronaldsway

by isleofman.com 21st May 2012

Fifty-two passengers were on board a Flybe aircraft which had to make an emergency landing at Ronaldsway yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

Fire crews from Castletown, Port Erin and Douglas were called to assist airport fire crews when the plane experienced technical problems shortly after take-off.

It’s understood the Flybe plane had trouble with its undercarriage.

The Dash 8 Q400 landed safely on the runway and the passengers were assisted from the aircraft before being bussed to the terminal building.
