Police are appealing for witnesses after a car crash in the West of the Island left a driver with serious injuries.
The incident happened shortly before 3am when a silver Citroen ZXI was found on its roof outside Ballakaighen Farm on the Peel to Kirk Michael Coast Road.
The driver had to be cut free from the car before being taken to Noble’s Hospital for treatment – their injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
The road was closed for three hours as officers secured the scene and carried out investigations.
