The inquest of a 91 year-old Ballaugh woman, killed in a road accident 12 days ago, will open this afternoon.
Freda Starkey died in an incident at Bishopscourt on the Kirk Michael to Ballaugh Road on May the sixth.
Mrs Starkey, who had lived in Ballaugh for more than 30 years, has been described as a ‘much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends’.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham will open the inquiry into her death at two thirty at Douglas Courthouse.
