Nominations for the vacant seat on the board of Onchan Commissioners close at the end of today.

Only six candidates came forward to contest seven seats for last month’s election leaving a vacancy.

If Onchan needs a by-election it will take place on June the 14th.

The successful candidate will serve a term until April 2016.
