Horse trams start

by isleofman.com 14th May 2012

The horse trams along Douglas promenade have started up for the summer season.

New mayor David Ashford started the service running this morning.

Trams will ply the promenade between the Sea Terminal and Strathallan Crescent each day between 9am and 6pm.

Douglas council’s regeneration and community advisory committee’s lead member Stephen Pitts is urging people to support the service, which he says has been growing in popularity over the past few years.
