It's hoped Manx meat will be back on the local shelves of Tesco by the end of June and even on the shelves of off-Island stores.
The Douglas store stopped stocking it in February after an audit of the meat plant found it didn't meet Tesco's food manufacturing standards.
Isle of Man Meat's chairman Graham Crowe says there was never any question about the quality of the meat but, as the Tesco food manufacturing standard is one of the highest in the world, it's difficult for a small company with limited resources to put systems in place to deal with that.
Mr Crowe hopes they can go back into the store on a higher level.
